Light & Motion Appoints Daniel Emerson New President and CEO
Monterey, CA. - (February 14, 2007) - Light & Motion, a leader in
underwater video, photo and bike lighting solutions, today announced the
appointment of Daniel Emerson as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Emerson will
also join the Board of Directors. Emerson brings to Light & Motion an
established record leading outdoor recreational products companies.
Emerson succeeds Co-founder Barrett Heywood who will continue to play an
active leadership role by serving on the Board of Directors. During the
last 7 years we have established ourselves as innovators in our markets,
with technology leadership in LED & HID bike lighting as well as opening
the door to underwater digital photography. I am confident that Daniel will
build on this foundation to bring underwater photography and night riding to
a much larger audience.

Emerson joins Light & Motion after 12 years of experience in leading
companies in outdoor markets. He was most recently the Product Director of
K2 Sports in Seattle Washington. Prior to joining K2 Sports in 2004, Daniel
served as the General Manger of Atlas Snowshoe Company in San Francisco
where he grew the company to $20 million in sales.
