My God! I was passing by a store without even wanting to buy a digital camera that day cause I don't think I have gathered enough budget to buy that need for a while, but it is there on display. The best part that catches my eye is the fact that is cost cheaper than the usual digicam out there! WAY ALOT CHEAPER! The better part of it is to see that it has every single features I ever, and i mean EVER want in one digicam; eg video, wav recording, still pictures in every format available. It runs on USB cable that comes with it to download the pictures in either internal memory of memory card (bought separately) and recharge with a recharger. I still can't believe how long recharged life can last with it's internal battery. In fact, it last longer than my cellphone's battery life! ^_^" The only thing missing is a radio and webcam in it *grins* To bad it is being discontinue on sell here maybe perhaps of its affordable price for a great package. So if you find this anywhere, get it ;)

This is a camera i didn't want to buy, the owner of the shop told me about it, since i was looking for some good camera.

THE FACT is that for few money i have now a GREAT camera for family and business pictures, the pictures are amazing at day and depending on the distance incredible at night with a flash you won't believe, is so powerfull the flash, and sensible to darkness...

It takes hours of WAV audio at perfect rate, more less 5 hours of audio, and 6minutes of complete video with audio at 600 x 480 if i'm not wrong, finally the most amazing thing is the battery life...

I think they discontinued this product because is too much competence for other cameras...the battery recharges with an adapter and from USB, i use the adapter rarely since she takes energy from USB port meanwhile downloading pictures and files...

It comes with a program to download files, and i don't know what else to say since i'm not being paid for making this ejjje :D

I bought this camera over 2 years ago just because I found it to be cheap, plus, the store salesman recommended it to me. Dind't had much experience with digital cams to compare its quality to, so I took it for granted. Over a period of time I've bought many more cams and spent much more money expecting better quality pics on more professional camera brands... Nevertheless, I haven't quite found the slickness that the dc3410 has over it's very little complexity and great image quality. I now use a much, much more expensive cam and can't really find any obvious differences between the quality of the pics from those that benq more simply gave me.

Can't understand why it has apparently been discontinued. Wish I could buy this camera again just beacuse it is so reliable, small, plus simple to use. If I were asked, I would highly recomend it.

After 2 years use, the battery started to fail. BenQ tells me battery cannot be replaced but will offer a discount on a new camera!!

This was given to me by my brother in summer of 2004. I like this camera as it has features that the more expensive cameras have. Not only can it shoot pictures, but it can also do audio and video recordings! Also, very importantly, you can recharge the built-in battery by using the AC power adapter that comes with the camera. I have been using this camera since day one and have not encountered any problem with the battery. I hope that it can last for several more years since a reviewer indicated that no replacement battery is available if the built-in dies.

On the downside, this has no image stabilization so if you take a shot of a moving subject, the picture comes out blurry. Also, the zoom feature only works if you have the still shots already in camera. No zooming if you want to take a close up shot.

Overall, a very good camera.
