Good for birthdays and trips to the zoo.
For a point and shoot this is an ok camera. If you use the LCD mid day light will look washed out and dawn/dusk will be too dark to see anything. I often take two pictures, one with flash one without in hopes of getting something I do not have to spend an hour in photoshop correcting. Slow speed causes a lot of hand shake error-esp in low light. If you want to do more than point and shoot occasionally- save your money for another month and get a better one.

Can't beat it for the price...
I bought this phone last fall before digital camera prices drastically fell. It was still around just $200, which was a wonderful deal. This is a very nice camera for $200. The pictures turn out beautiful. The camera is sturdy and appealing to the eye...it's size is great too. Flashes, options, battery life...it's all there. It is SO easy to learn how to use. I've had some trouble because some photo processing places (i.e. Rite Aid) cannot yet service xD. xD is also a bit costly, but it is actually wonderful...very small and effective. Overall, a wonderful camera, especially for a beginner or a student. If you want to edit your pictures well or anything, you'll need better software than what comes with the camera, but that could be found online for free. Great deal...highly reccommend!

Unsatisfactory
While the interface of the camera is professional looking, and the overall appearance of the camera is aesthetically pleasing, I was very disappointed with this camera. I noticed that the quality of the prints were very inferior to those taken by my friend's Nikkon Coolpix 3.2 mega pixel model. In addition, it was very hard to find a place to develop pictures, as most novice camera stores (and even some professional ones!) did not have machines that were compatible with the XD card (which by the way, costs almost double what any other memory card would cost). I accidentally dropped the camera once, and the LCD screen broke, and it no longer displayed images. Soon thereafter, the zoom broke, and the lens got stuck on the exterior of the camera. I threw it out, and got a Kodak EasyShare CX6330, which while not as aesthetically pleasing, takes much better pictures, and is far sturdier.

Lasted A little over two years
I loved my Fugi camera. I had bought it when digital cameras were at their peek craze and 3.2 mp's was really cool. Unfortunately I naively thought the camera was of top quality and that I would not need to sign up for the four-year warrantee/service plan. I was disappointed when on my study abroad trip the camera's zoom lens got stuck outside of the camera. When I returned home (now without any pictures) they told me it would cost around $100 to fix the stupid thing. I decided to buy a different brand digital camera with the 4-year service plan!

Great digital Camera
This camera is great. I recieved one from my parents for my birthday. The only things I can complain about are: there is no AC adapter included (with mine atleast) and the flash takes a while to charge, and the camera LOVES to use the flash if you let it. It's always good to have extras... so here are a couple of things that might enhance the camera... or anycamera for that matter. 1) Bigger memory card. I have a 64MB chip in mine. it holds over 100 images on the second highest setting... the 16MB chip holds less than thirty. 2)AA rechargeable battaries... I already had these from my mp3 player. 3)Case, you don't want it to get scratched do you??? Thats it. you could get a tripod if you really want to... Picture quality is great when left on the automatic setting.

Tolerable
Good:
1. 3 megapixels for high quality photos
2. lightweight
3. fast response time, a good camera for point and shoot.
4. can record pretty high quality videos
5. both optical and digital zoom
6. very nice white balance (especially indoors)
7. only needs 2 AA batteries.
Bad:
1. blurs easily indoors without proper/bright lighting. Outdoor pictures are great though, and I'm a firm anti-flash type person, however it seems like the only way to get rid of blurriness is to use flash.
2. bulky. It's light yes, but it's also bulky, meaning you can't really carry it conveniently wherever you want; you basically have to carry it in its own case, which is rather annoying on vacations and outtings with friends and well....travelling anywhere.
3. videos don't have sound, but I don't really think that's a downer...my little short silent ones are totally fine, although sound would be a pleasant extra to have...
Overall, this camera is pretty good. I think it's a nice deal for the low price. However, the fat and plump case/design made me supremely jealous of my friend's credit card-sized camera that she can fit in the back pocket of her jeans. This is NOT a camera to lug around. As for durability, I haven't dropped it yet, so I wouldn't know.
I'm currently looking for a digital camera that can compete in quality and response time while being slim, light, and much more travel-friendly.

Good For Beginners, But Very I Wouldn't Buy It Again
I got this camera as a graduation gift (it was my first digital camera) last June. This is a good camera for beginners, if all you really do is pretty harmless point and click, but for anyone truly interested in photography, I wouldn't really suggest it. The pros: -good quality photos, especially for a 3.2. -small, compact size and shape -surprisingly durable (at least in the beginning). I took it out in the snow during the huge East Coast snowstorm and it performed very well. Lens froze a couple of times, but if you just breathe hot air onto it, it should start working again. -runs on AA, so if the battery level runs low and you have extra AAs handy, you can still use the camera (versus Canon cameras where you have to use camera specific batteries) The cons: -HUGE, and I mean LONG delay between photos. 5 seconds may not seem like a long time, but when you're waiting for that perfect shot...and the camera misses it and you have to wait another 5 seconds for the flash to prepare itself again, the moment will already have been lost. -The shutter cover is very flimsy. -Movie mode includes no sound. -Weak zoom. -Drains alkaline AA power very quickly, so you'll have to buy rechargable Lithium Ion batteries (not that big of a deal though). -uses xD (although these days the camera market is much more accepting of xDs and it's easier to find products that are created for them.). Cards can be quite expensive. -Lastly, it's been slightly more than a year since I got this camera and it has completed died out on me. I haven't used this camera in about two months because I haven't been able to turn it on. I hold the power switch and nothing happens (it's definitely not the batteries). Basically, if you're looking for a camera that will last and give you good quality photos, I wouldn't really buy this one. Look into the Canon PowerShot line, they're much more sturdy, record up to 3 minutes of video with sound, and are much better in general.

Cheap, but ... cheap
I got this camera as a gift in December 2002. As one of the least expensive 3 megapixel cameras at the time (the output is 2048x1536 pixels), it sold fairly quickly. It seemed nice at first, with the large image size for the price, but I became disappointed with image quality after a while. The sensor is only capable of ISO 100 speeds, so it would insist on using the flash in most situations that didn't have the benefit of broad daylight. Even in broad daylight, the images would still be quite grainy at larger sizes, and there was a good chance of bright background colors bleeding around the edges of darker foreground objects. So, in addition to not handling dark scenes very well, it also had trouble with bright ones. Unfortunately, it's a struggle to see the preview/playback screen when outdoors. I got frustrated with it fairly quickly, though some of the deficiencies can be fixed in post-processing, and many images look just fine if you display them at 1/4 resolution (1024x768).
I liked the fairly small size, as it fits nicely into a shirt pocket. It's also easy to retrieve photos from the camera, since it simply shows up as a USB hard drive if you have it in the correct mode. Unfortunately, the battery life seemed fairly short for a camera of this size. I used it with a 128 MB xD card, and was able to put right around 100 full-size photos on it. Unfortunately, it seemed to suck batteries dry pretty quickly, so 100 photos on a single charge is about as far as I'd want to go.

Slowest. Camera. Ever
I've had this camera for a couple years and I'm just dying to buy a new one.
We went to Vegas a couple months ago and tried to take pictures of the Lions at Caesars. Here's how it works:
1) Turn on camera, wait a minute for it to be ready
2) Take a picture (with flash)
3) Wait about 50 seconds until it's ready to take the next one.
I can't believe this camera has such high ratings. Besides being horribly slow, the picture quality is hit or miss. When it's on, it's really great, but about half of the time it's "off."

inflo
The product was not as advertized, The zoom would not work. Apparently the camera was dropped hitting on the zume lense, breaking it. I am returning product to sender. The item is worthless as it is.

Very good, cheap digital camera
For its low price, this camera is worth it. It takes nice quality pictures and is durable. I've dropped it a few times and it hasn't broken yet. It is also extremely easy to use. Even my mom figured out how to use it!!!
Overall: A very good camera

Good for its age
I bought this camera several years ago and can say that I am pleased with its performance over that time. I thought I would add my thoughts on it to the chorus.
Pros:
Reliable - It has not malfunctioned for me in the time I've had it
Uses 2AA batteries so it is easy to replace them in a pinch
The xD media has become comperable to other media in price
Easy connection to computers via USB cable
Capable of switching resolution from 3.2 MP down to .3 MP
Good for taking close-ups
Multiple flash settings
Cons:
Extremely slow in start-up and between shots
Slow shudder speed
Automatic focus makes it virtually impossible to shoot through glass
Very small LCD screen in the back
Pictures become blurrged when the batteries start run down
Flash can fail or be mistimed when the batteries are low
No sound on video
All-in-all, it is a decent camera considering its age and price. It is good for stationary subjects such as landscape, plants, and overweight cats. If you expect to need to take action shots or several shots in a row, it is not the camera for you. The shudder speed is too slow for moving targets and it can take 5-7 seconds between pictures when using the flash.
My personal opinion rates is at 4-stars, though I could not rationally give it more than 3 due to its age and the afore-mentioned drawbacks.
