The Finepix Z10fd is exactly the kind of camera I need for my business. I'm a nail artist, and I need to be able to take clear, crisp, and up-close photos of hands and feet--and that's what I get with this subcompact little cutie. The controls are very intuitive, also; I didn't need the user's manual to figure out the basics, and only needed to peek at it couple of times for some of the more specific functions. The 7.2 pixels give me a whole lot of image to work with later in my photo editing software. I haven't had the opportunity to print anything yet, but when I do, I'll edit this review accordingly.
Oh, and the fact that the camera is HOT PINK does nothing at all to diminish my pleasure in its use, in case anyone was wondering :D

exactly what I need |
Poor low-light performance in an otherwise great cameraI really wanted to like the camera, but it failed woefully for my needs. The low-light performance is very poor, with significant noise present in any shots over ISO 200. Most small cameras have trouble in low-light, but after the success of the Fuji F20/F30/F40 series, I was hoping this camera would perform better. As it is, the Sony T-Series even though not great in low light, is worlds better. If you want to take indoor shots without flash, that's very important.
Almost everything else about this camera is very good: -Nice construction -Easy to use -Good feature set -Good image quality in brightly lit environments -Nice "grid" option in viewfinder One other issue - the "anti-shake" does not work very well, it is not true mechanical image stabilization, but rather a shutter-speed and iso boost. So, if you shoot only in bright environments, go for it. Otherwise, look further! |
fun camera, worth the moneythe camera is fun. It takes decent pictures. It has lots of features. What it will not do is allow you to zoom in while taking video. The camera works well for a camera but it's only okay as a video maker.
Don't let other venders try to convince you to purchase an extended battery. I tried to order this camera from 2 other websites that had it for a cheaper price. I got an e-mail soon after I placed my order saying to call them persoanlly. I called them because I was told that it was for my own security against fraud. I was soon told that I should buy an extended battery because "this camera came with a battery that would only last 20 minutes". When I refused the battery my order became cancelled. After argueing with these poeople for about a week (& in 1 case told my camera wouldn't arrive for a month) I ordered it from Amazon. I got the camera in about 3 days. The battery is fine. I had to charge once after about a week of normal use. I recommend this camera. I also recommend getting it from Amazon & avoiding any hassle. |
Do not expect too muchOverall a very compact and light weight camera ideal for taking photos of unimportant occasions. But for this price, one should not expect tact sharp images.
Pros: Very good macro performance. Face detection (if it can detect)provides very good exposure and focusing under ideal lighting conditions. Cons: Very slow low light focusing, too much high iso noise (including iso 400), extensive loss of sharpness on the far right and left edges in wide angle shots and some purple artifacts on vertical lines of buildings. |
Dont buy just because it is a Fujithis camera is small, compact, light, but sadly it doesnt take crystal clear images...
i've taken more than 100 trial shots in different modes and circumstances however this camera is far from satifying the minimum...evening shots are really bad...forget taking sharp landscape photos with it...the only good results you may get are with macro shots... it was a wrong choice...my recommendation to those who are thinking of buying this digital cameara is to think twice... |
cute but little elseI was so eager to love this camera. I even pre-ordered it weeks in advance. Unfortunately I had to return it the next day -- the shots taken with this camera were not good at all.
If you're into cute and don't care about image quality, than this is the camera for you (this one or possibly a Casio, which to my eyes makes the cutest cameras out there). But if you're looking for photographic quality, I'd suggest you look elsewhere, perhaps to Canon or Panasonic. |
Super snapper!!I've been a Fujifilm faithful ever since my first digicam, the FP1300, seven digital cameras ago in 2001. With the Z10fd, it's easy to see why; tiny, sleek eye catching design (curvy and retro looking), intuitive, easy to use interface, and great image quality.
The Z10 is a 7 megapixel camera with 25MB internal memory. I made sure I got a large memory card, a 1GB XD card (the camera also takes SD and SDHC memory cards) which stores 294 images at the highest resolution, and 18.7 minute movie clips (640x480 at 30fps). Having owned two cameras in the Z series; the Z1 and Z3, comparisons are inevitable. The first thing of note is that you no longer require the cradle to charge the camera, or download photos/movies/sound clips. It was quite a pain having to lug that around everywhere. As with those two, the camera powers on by sliding back the lens cover. One gripe I have though is that there isn't a dedicated button for movie mode anymore. You must now go into the menu to access it, but I can live with that. There's only one button on top of the camera, the shutter button, everything else in located on the back, beside the LCD. The 2.5 inch LCD display is toughened and scratch/break resistant. The resolution is excellent. The camera has 3x optical zoom which it does without extending out of the camera body, like most other cameras. The battery charges in about an hour, much quicker than the 140 minutes stated in the manual. Camera start up is very quick too, just under 2 seconds from my timing. The menu is even further simplified. If, for example, you select one out of the 18 shooting modes (i.e. Manual, Auto, Natural & Flash, Natural light, Party, Sports -for moving objects, etc. There's even a mode for Text), the screen displays text explaining what each mode is, with crystal clear sample images to illustrate. Each mode makes life easier for people like me who aren't into much tinkering to achieve great results. Natural & Flash is one of my favourites as it takes two images; one with flash, and one with natural light near simultaneously, and you get to select one, or keep both. Most times, the photo taken in natural light comes out tops. Movies are shot in 30fps, TV quality mode, which is becoming standard in digicams these days. You can select either the higher quality of 640x480, or lower quality of 320x240 (which gives longer clips). Quality is very good, and it's amazing the way the camera adapts to changes in light intensity while shooting (e.g. moving from a darker indoors atmosphere to a sunny exterior). Then we come to the major feature, face detection mode. This is a welcome feature for people like me who while handing my camera to strangers to "please take a photo of me", hope and pray that the photo taken manages to come out focused and okay at least. In this mode, the camera locks onto facial features, up to ten faces at a time, and automatically selects the best exposure for the shot as well as eliminates red-eye, enabling great shots to be taken every time. You can also use face detection mode with the self timer, ensuring those shots you take of yourself come out great. You can still use AF/AE lock as well. You can edit photos too; clip, rotate, and even send or receive images with other IR enabled cameras by infra red. I tried it with my PC (which is IR enabled) and it didn't work though, shame! The camera comes in a range of colours; black (my favourite), red, green, pink, blue, and orange. There's an AV cable to connect to your TV to view images or movie clips (it uses the same port as the USB and has a nice little cover for the port), and as ever, the Finepix software is first class. Photos up to A3 size can be printed in crystal clear resolution. This camera will not please those who are used to extensive manual settings and loads of tinkering with ISO levels, white balance, and other photographic jargon, but if you're like me, and just want to be able to whip out your camera, and without much fuss, capture the moment, this camera is for you. My current favourite gadget along with my iPod classic! |
Horrible Customer Service!!!The camera will do what you need it to do as long as nothing goes wrong. The customer care people at fuji bounce you from one person to another and will do everything in their power not to help you. For this reason I would not recommend any fujifilm camera and I would look at the Canon, Nikon, or Olympus brands. Compared to fuji their customer service is like night and day. Hope this helps.

Fuji Z10fd 7.2MP Digital Camera with 3X OPTICALOpened it up on Christmas morning and the pictures were as good as the Olympic 7.2MP as my parents own and paid much more. The only thing I was disappointed in is that there was no cartiage which made it difficult to store pictures as the hard drive was limited. Keep up the effort in coming up with an affordable good quality product.
|
cute cameraThis camera was purchased for my daughter for Christmas. She likes it and it takes good pictures but the software that goes with it is hard to work with. She has accidentally deleted several pictures even though she has used digital cameras and lots of software programs before. Turns out the software is not as user-friendly as the camera.

What a terrible camera! As a professional photographer with 35 years experience, I have used many cameras.
I chose the first generation of this camera, a Fuji Finepix Z1, and I loved that camera. After three years of use the electronic flash on that camera failed. Knowing that repair was not an option, I naturally gravitated to a later generation of the same camera which was presumably improved. The shutter lag on this camera is so long that I might as well press the shutter release and go sneak a smoke. Maybe there will be an image recorded by the time I get back. In Fuji's defense there were some features that have improved. The menu is easier to navigate, and the image review function is simplified and improved. Let's face it folks, great moments in life are very fleeting. If I am unable to grab the shot, they are just images in my memory, not my memory card. Shutter lag is THE ONLY DEAL that I concern myself with, if it concerns you, avoid this camera. |
Beautiful design, poor image qualityI wanted to like this camera badly. The design of the camera was perfect for my needs - cute, compact, with a lens cover. I wanted a "purse camera" for spontaneous snaps of my son, and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. Even though I wasn't looking for anything of professional quality, the image quality was so poor that I returned the camera.
|
Good for a small packageThis camera is very small and the lens does not stick out when you turn it on - which is the main reason I chose it (after having 2 Kodaks get their lenses stuck and Kodak doing nothing for me, sure you can send it in and if they think it's not a warrantee issue they'll charge your credit card more than the camera is worth - so I won't be buying another Kodak)
OK enough time spent bashing Kodak's bad product support - the Fuji seems to take pretty good pictures but does not take video. The battery will give you about 150 pictures per charge which is good but I would get a second battery if this is going to be your only camera. The picture quality is not quite as good as some larger camera's in the same mp range (my other camera is a Kodak Z710 which takes better looking pictures than the Fuji but the lens makes me nervous after the issues I had with the other two Kodaks). Bottom Line - We (it's primarily my wife's camera) are happy with it, and the small size makes it very handy for spontaneous pictures. |
Fast, Sharp, EZ to useGave this to my 17yr old and she filled a 1gb card in 24hrs. She has used it outdoors at events and indoors where no flash is permitted and still achieved good images. I know the professional Fuji cameras are based on Nikons, so perhaps the companies are sharing technology. Would explain the great pics...
The HOT BLUE color makes quite a splash too. Good Deal! |
Sleek!Not a bad buy.
The zoom though is a little disappointingly close range. Also, the face recognition can be a little confusing but once you figure out how it works, this is a nifty sleek gadget. Sure better than my previous Finepix Z3. |
Love it!I purchased this camera as a Christmas present for myself from my husband. It is in my favorite color, BLUE. I have been a camera addict since I was 10 years old, when I was presented with my first camera by my equally camera-addicted uncle, Victor.
I found it extremely easy to use. The screen is big, and it is so simple to download to my Mac (iPhoto). I carry this camera everywhere for quick snapping. The feature that I look forward to using the most is the continuous shot mode. |
Cute camera doesn't deliverI pre-ordered this camera for my teenage daughter's birthday based
on Fuji's reputation for consistently delivering good quality cameras, and the fact that my daughter loved the styling. After using the camera for a few weeks it was actually my daughter that came to me with concerns about the picture quality. Indoor shots with flash were especially poor and grainy. So back to Amazon it went, and we got a Canon SD1000 to replace it which we are thrilled with. |
great camera for the $My husband received this camera as a present, prior we were using the finepix 2 megapix from 2001, we thought that was OK just humungus! This fuji Z10 is so tiny but takes great pics and even better videos. He was so happy with this gift, we would definitely recommend
|
Great Deal!Got a great deal, 10% lower than anywhere else. My teen daughter is impressed with the ease of use and the quality pictures.
|
Finepix(wave blue)This camera is very nice.It takes great pictures and with a memory card you can record up to an hour of video. My girlfriend loves this camera and is trigger happy.Tons of pictures have gone on My Space already. This is the first Fuji product I have purchased and I was not disappointed.I recommend it for the price and the looks.
|
Finepix Z10After researching cameras to purchase for my teenage daughter I decided to go with the Fujifilm Finepix Z10fd. Many of the stores were out of this product due to it's popularity. Not only was I able to find it available on Amazon it was also the best price both online and in the stores. I am very pleased with my purchase of this camera.
|
fuji finepixI bought this camera for my 12 year old daughter as a Christmas gift. She loved it. It is extremely easy to use and compact. Would definetly recommend this model for anyone. Amazon made my first experience purchasing on the internet very easy.
|
Great Little CameraI got my daughter this camera for Christmas. I searched many and didn't want to spend a fortune for one because she is 13 and 13 year olds are not always as careful as they should be. Well, I liked it so much that I am waiting for one for me to be delivered because I ordered one for myself. It is a great camera at a reasonable price.
|
Great for a 1st time camaraThis camara has taken pretty nice pictures in different lights and settings. I think it is a pretty good camara for a first timer, it is very light and easy to carry. As well as a a big screen, sleek disign and an eye-poping color.
|
Fuji Z10fd Has the Wow Factor !I own multiple compact cameras - and this is by far one of my favorites. I have the Sony T10 and Samsung i6 and now the Fuji z10fd.
First off, the hardest part about purchasing this camera is deciding which color to get - all the colors are so cool, you just kinda wanna collect them all :-). I decided on the Green color. I can always find it in a room full of other camera's : ) Pros: * Cute, this little cutie is a conversation piece. * Small and easily fits in your pocket or purse. * Fast startup * Fast shooting * Takes SD film :) * User Friendly * Easy to Open/Close * Transfers pictures to other Fuji's "WOW" * Scrapbook / Playback features are Fun. Cons: * Unable to Zoom in/out while shooting video :( * Video starts playing automatically (playback mode) - I wish there was an option to turn that off - it gets annoying when trying to find videos. * Unable to easily switch between Picture mode and Video mode - without going thru the menu. |
Fujifilm Finepix Z10fd 7.2MP Digital CameraThe camera malfunctioned even before we could take a first picture with it. The battery got stuck inside, refused to pop out, and the camera could not take pictures. We called Fuji and sent it back to them. It is 4 weeks later and we are still to receive the camera back. They did acknowledge receipt of the product and are fixing it. I am pretty disappointed that we did not even use the camera once before it broke.
|
pocket picture timeThis is a great camera, it isn't quite the quality of my much more expensive and huge to hold SLR, but it has all the same features in a compact little sweetly orange package. I carry it everywhere I go and wish I had bought it a long time ago...
|
really bad camerathis camera takes terrible pictures the screen shows them with what looks like a film over them and the do not show up any better once they are down loaded to the computer or printed out. I have a 3.2mp digital that takes better pitcures. You will be disaponted if you get this camera. Fujifilm really messed up with this one.
|
Nice CameraGreat camera. Bought as a Christmas gift for my wife, she wanted a hot pink phone so I bought her this one, she loved it! Great quality pics and many picture options as well, computer software easy to install and camera is easy to use. Only con is that I feel the rechargeable battery it comes with should be able to last longer than it does. Other than that, one of the best cameras you can find in this color and I would definitely recommend to others.
|
no flash = bad pictures!this is a decent camera for the price my only complaint is that if you like taking pictures in natural light (no flash) expect grainy noisy pictures. and just my luck i love to take pictures without a flash =[ .. all the other features of this camera are great! it's very compact and easy to use. i got it in wasabi green and i have to say it's a beautiful color! for a point and shoot this camera would definitely serve it's purpose..it also takes nice videos. just be warned if you like taking digital pictures with low lighting affects and no flash it will be a major disappointment.
|
This camera is not worthI bought this camera because of the attractive color (green) and based on the reviews I came across. However, when I got it here to be honest I was quite disappointed. The camere make noise while zooming, and could not perform well while taking macro shots. Compared to my old 6.1MP Nikon, the Fuji is behind in picture quality and overall performance. It takes longer for the software to process the images taken. The Face Detection feature is almost useless, it is a good concept but it was poorly executed. For the money, in my oppinion, you could get a better camera. Might want to consider the Casio, Canon, Nikon or Sony units from the same price range!
|
Good for the priceMy goal with this purchase was to find a pocket size camera that is easy to use with good photo quality. This is it! I normally purchase more professional grade cameras and really wasnt sure if I would enjoy this purchase. I have been impressed with everything so far. My favorite thing about it is that it fits easily into my purse or pocket and is not bulky or heavy.
|
GreatThis is a great camera. Very user friendly! You don't have to know too much camera jargon to begin taking quality pictures. If you take the time to really learn all the features of the camera, no doubt you will end up with professional quality photos. If you need to change the shooting mode (i.e, beach, museum, sports...), the camera explains each mode on the screen so you can choose one quickly and snap your shot. The software allows you to make several enhancements to the pictures. My favorites are cropping and changing the pictures to black & white or sepia. The camera itself couldn't be any sleeker. If you're looking for an affordable digital camera to grab & go without much fuss, treat yourself to this one.
|
Fujifilm Finepix Z10I bought this camera for my daughter and she loves it. From the pictures I saw that she had taken, they were very clear with great detail. I've always liked Fuji products and still do.
|
beginner's camera This is a really good camera for beginners. I received this camera as a b-day gift for my 13th. I must say that as my first digital camera it meets most of my expectations. The pictures get blurry once in a while to where it looks like there are two images. My opinion it is because it is sensitive to motion. What I like about it the most it has a really cool audio to where you can give yourself notes on pictures. Such as where it was taken. The video function is great too. Once in awhile you just need a video to share rather then a picture. It's probably a good idea to get this as a teenagers birthday gift. I personally love it.
|
Good CameraGreat camera for point and shoot. Very user friendly and great for pre-teens like my daughter. I have a 2MB card for it shooting up to 30 minutes of video. My daughter loves this camera. Also, the internal battery is a great plus - you don't have to buy any AA or AAA batteries. This camera has many plus features.
|
Easy to use, good picsI had an olympus 7 megapixel digital camera that turned out to need a lot of manipulation before it took a decent picture. I finally gave up on it and bought this one because my sister has it and her pictures always came out much better than mine. I'm glad I did because this one is much easier to use, just point and click and you get great pictures. No need to fuss with the settings, etc.
|
Awesome!I ordered this camera for my wife's Christmas gift. First off, the price was almost $50 cheaper than Best Buy's after Thanksgiving ad. The user friendlyness and picture quality are superb. Matter of fact , Im ordering a second one of these in black for me. An awesome camera.
|
a little disappointing but overal greatIf you are just putting pictures of Facebook or any other social networking site then this camera is for you. If your plans are more than just pictures of that sort then I would not recomend this camera. It takes great pictures but the software that comes with it is not so great. I wish I would have done a little more research and not just bought it because of the color but still it is a good camera.
|
Excellent camera, easy to useMy 16 year old daughter bought this camera and LOVES it. She does not read instructions and has still had great success with a lot of the features. It is very easy to use and understand. The image stabilization is good, the picture quality is beautiful, and the video feature is a lot of fun. Great camera, great price.
|
Nice camera for the moneyFor about little over $100, this camera is a great buy, perfact for fast home snap shots, with web friendly formats etc...uses cheap sd cards and come with some nice feature set ( almost too much features ) but can't beat it for the price !
|
Nice little cameraWell I just got this one today and it is just what I wanted. If you are going for a sub compact camera then size should be your biggest consideration. This little Z series is about as small as they come. I got mine in Sunset Orange and love the bright color. I mean its so small you could almost put it on your keychain. I have a Razor cell phone and this little camera is slightly thicker, slightly shorter and ever so slightly wider. The weight is about the same, I can actually put it in the Razor's leather case and snap it shut! The picture quality I am sure will continue to get better in the future but its pretty good now. Those who are reviewing this camera, remember its the size of a cell phone and it still delivers pretty nice pictures. The design does not allow it to be quite as good as the larger cameras. I mean the Canon SD1000 ELF series is the best in this category, and it is more expensive, considerably larger and the lens has to come out when trying to zoom. I was thinking of a camera I could slip into a cell phone case to carry with me just like my phone. I think I've found it here. The whole reason in my mind for a camera this small is portability. Thats means alot to me in that I will always have it on me and no more of this " if I had only had a camera with me " thoughts. The best pictures always come when we are not expecting them. I will no longer miss those shots. There are several really cool features on this little camera, one of which is really great macro shots, even has a text mode for taking pictures of script like all the spy movies used to have for photograghing secret documents. please be very careful to read the full description as I have only discussed the reason I feel this camera should be considered, SIZE.
|
love itThis camera is great. Nice and small, but it has so many cool features. Amazing color, too!
|
Decent Camera for Good PriceI bought this camera for my wife since it was a decent pink camera. The price is basically the best thing about this camera. There is nothing too special about the camera, but it does compare with all of the other point and shoot cameras in the 100-200 dollar range. The only bad thing that I can say about the camera is that is gets a little fuzzy on the preview screen when you zoom in, but the picture comes out clear, so it's not a major factor. Taking the price into factor this is a really good camera. The pictures come out clear and it has roughly 10 picture modes that allow for you to take decent pictures in different environments.
|
Great CameraI'm 14 and love this camera!! It's fun and the color is awesome! the zoom isn't very good or far, but the camera is great for a teenager.
|
Red eye removal doesn't work wellThis camera was a disappointment. I have a Z5 and got this for the red eye removal. The face detection frequently will not detect the face of a child because a child's face moves a lot. The red eye is not removed unless the face is detected. Even when the face is detected the red eye is often not removed. I love the Z5 I have, and other than the red eye removal I like this camera also. The camera will provide a slide show with music accompaniment. Small size and great user interface are good features.
|
I, really like the camera. Its small and handy. Wish someone would make a case that would protect the viewing screen. As I mentioned above, I like the camer, its small and light and can easily be carred in a pants pocket. I took it to Costa Rica the day after I receive the order from Amazon and worked through the instructions. I have a larger FujiFilm camer and the control function are nearly the same so the learning curve was fairly shallow. Again like the Camera and I will buy futur Fuji products.
|
works great.I love this camera. It's absolutely great. I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever and the battery doesn't take as long to charge as most other cameras. It takes awesome photos and it's so easy to use. The only complaint that I would have about this camera is that it doesn't zoom in as much as I'd like.
|
cameralittle late in the mail but could have been ups fault got what i paid for
|
Poor shot quality!I'm no photography buff, I just wanted a point-and-shoot camera that would take decent pictures at parties and outdoor events. This camera is not it. Very, very poor shot quality no matter which mode I use. Pictures look ok in their original state but if you zoom in at all the crappiness is instantly revealed. I will be putting mine up for sale on eBay and getting something else as soon as I can.
|
Good point and shoot.I bought this camera because I was looking for a small and reasonably priced point and shoot. This camera fit the bill perfectly. The camera powers up quickly, and the image quality is decent for a point and shoot. I believe this is a great camera for the money.
|
it's pretty decent...The camera works fine. It's not something very extravagent...It does it's job. The quality of the pics could be slightly better...However, they do look wonderful when hooked up to a TV.
I'd recommend it to someone looking for a camera to take random pictures. You do get your money's worth, but don't expect spectacular pictures. |
Great buy.Camera has great features (anti-blur, framing help, etc.) for the price. One to keep in your pocket on trips! Zooms in and out to capture wider and tighter shots. Quick download capability (even worked with program already on my computer, so I never needed to download the included disc. Although, if I do, I do believe there are special features included in the Fuji that I can use to enhance and edit photographs). Only one complaint--the camera's color looks like it is fading from black to a purle hue. That's okay, though.

Perfect CamaraI love this camara even though I haven't used it much. Its face focus is awesome! It has many anemities to use to help make the perfect picture. Red eye, flash, face focus, blur button, etc...It also make videos and you can add your voice to it. You can download pics to your computer or straight to the printer and even to your TV!! I have no problems with this and can't wait to use it more!!

Nice... worth the money. After much research, Amazon was definitely the cheapest price. Not a lot of features, but does the job. Flash is almost too bright, pictures taken with the flash are super bright,,, which makes for an unusual pic if you are in a club... fits nicely in an ipod sock.
Also, the case not black so much as it is dark plum. |
pink cameraWas looking for this specific hot pink camera and amazon had it for a great price new! I was also able to get shipping at a discount and arrived less than a week.My daughter's school trip was complete and took great pictures. The process was easy in ordering it. This was my first time using amazon.

great little cameraThis little camera is great. Good picture quality, easy to use, charge, and carry. Software easy to install and use. Many colors to choose from. Could have a little better zoom, but for the money, a winner.

A great buy! This little camera is great! Small, compact and takes excellent photos. And with the SD cards (I bought mine on Amazon.com) being so cheap, it makes this camera a must have. One issue, is that you have to make sure you review the instructions, at first I had a lot of blurry photos. There's an anti-blur feature- make sure it's on. Great camera for the price!

Awsome Little Camera!I purchased two of these for my girls' birthdays and now want one for myself. These are high-quality, economical, and easy to use point-and-shoots. Very close and clear focusing allows great flower shots...And the girls went nuts over the hot pink! Another quality product from a quality company.

Great little cameraI really like this camera. has plenty of features for one at this price point. Takes great pictures as well.

Fuji Finepix Z10 CameraThis little camera is absolutely fantastic. I bought it for our trip out west. We came back home with over 400 beautiful pictures. Easy to operate.

Amazing for a tiny camera! For a camera smaller than my hand, this thing packs a punch. The zoom is more than I would expect from such a tiny thing, and it takes pretty long videos. The only problem with the video is you cant zoom in and out when shooting.
There are so many different shooting options, I took this to a concert where we were in the back row of the balcony, and I got some great shots with it on the "night" setting. Not very blurry, even with using the digital zoom. Perfect to stick in my pocket. I would suggest a second battery if you are going to be traveling. I got a SDHC card for this- 4G, woohoo! So far, I havent been able to fill it. I doubt I ever will! Im glad I bought this camera. For the price, it was well worth it. I Despise the software that came with it, however. I downloaded Googles "Picasa", it works much better. If you get this camera, just know that the software is terrible. BUT, the camera is GREAT!! |
Great point and click camera!I bought this camera for my daughter for her 11th birthday. We both love the camera, bought a memory card to expand how many pictures and videos it can hold. We can easily download the pictures from the camera to our MySpace pages and other picture sharing sites like Dropshots. The video isn't the best quality but for us, it works fine. BUT...we are not technical, are not looking for the best and WERE looking for a camera that would do what we needed it to do for a reasonable price. We found those things with this camera. And the battery life is AWESOME!

Great FindI originally purchached this camera for the color but found the features are fabulous. It is extremely easy to use and the picture quality is amazing. I have already purchased others for family members. It arrives quickly as well.

Excellent novice camera.Has the automatic controls that a novice fotographer needs. If you want easy switching of program modes or video mode, you had better learn the menu navigation. The buttons are limited in scope, and not very user friendly. If you want to take good pix, this is great because it can even take two of the same pose, one with flash and one natural. Great for wedding guests.

Good quailty for a good priceI love this camera, it has great picture quality and it's user friendly. All of the pictures I take are very crisp and clear and it's perfect for any time of day, any light inside and outside. I absoultly would not trade this camera in for the world and I think if you're making the decision wether to buy this or not that you have found the perfect camera for you and you should go ahead and buy it, you won't be disappointed. And I'm not an easy sell either.

Compact camera - Big picturesI bought this camera primarily because of its compact size. It is one of the smallest good quality cameras on the market. Obviously it can't compete with a Nikon D series or Canon Rebel, but if you read the manual and learn the right settings, it takes great quality photos for a point and shoot. It has a rechargable lithium battery with long life, which is important because there is no viewfinder and all sighting is done on the large LCD screen. The controls and menu are easy to manage. For my first digital Fuji, I am impressed. The price has gone up since I bought it, but at the $117 I paid, I thought I got a great deal.

Cam FanaticHands down, one of the best cameras on the market. I use it almost everyday.
Great for just pictures with friends or family, or semi-professional photos. |
Wow! I am amazed at the picture quality. We purchased three of these cameras for our children (well young adults) all in different colors. The first thing to grab my attention was the ease of use the second was the quality of the picture this camera was producing. My Husband and I purchased a Sanyo several months prior to buying these and we were happy with it until we saw the quality of the pictures of this camera. One of the features I like the best is the slide on the front turns the camera on and off, in addition to that it protects the lens. Now if they could design a camera to protect both the LCD and the Lens that would be perfect. I really like this camera.

ExcellentI took more than 1000 pictures and many movies and upload Youtube. It is very good and I love this camera.
