Aquatica Housing for the Canon T1i

The new Aquatica underwater housing for the Canon T1i Camera provides photographers with an affordable solution for taking a compact and lightweight DSLR underwater, to produce high quality images and high definition videos. Made of precision machined aluminum and designed to be compatible with a wide variety of strobes, the new housing features a fiber optic cable connection as well as optional Nikonos and Ikelite bulkhead connectors.

The new Aquatica T1i Housing is part of a new line of Aquatica underwater camera housings, constructed from a solid piece of aluminum. These new housings, designed for new, compact and less expensive DSLR cameras, allow recreational divers and photographers to take high quality underwater stills and High Definition videos within an affordable price range.

Optical fiber strobe connections, along with the more classic Nikonos and Ikelite bulkhead connectors, are now offered as an option, making the Aquatica housing one of the most versatile with respect to strobe connections. Control buttons for accessing the camera built-in flash functions are provided as well.

Made of precision machined aluminum and anodized to military specification, the new and affordable Aquatica T1i Housing was crafted baring the user in mind. It features all video and stills features favored by professionals in a compact, lightweight and easy-to-use design. Built around Aquatica’s well established bayonet port system, this new Aquatica housing will accommodate all current ports, extensions and gears.

The Aquatica housing robust aluminum construction ensures no warping or twisting of the housing as a reaction to pressure at the increased depths of recreational diving, thereby eliminating any affect on the housing controls.
