Boot 2007 :: Sealux
On their booth Sealux proudly presents their new viewfinder for the camera housings. The
150 degree viewfinder is longer than the other available "geneigten" viewfinder and offers
a brilliant view on the camera viewfinder. You can see every detail (image and the image
information) very clearly. The viewfinder can be rotated by 30 degree steps and therefore
offers more possible positions for different usage scenarios.
There are new housings available for Nikon D80 and Canon 350D owners, which can of course
be delivered with the new viewfinder.
There is good news for all the macro lovers. Sealux now offers a new macro port series (PS-macro ports), which can mount wet diopter lenses. To do so the ports do not only have a bajonett mount on the back, but also on the front, where the wet lense can be mounted. There are currently three different macro ports and three different wet diopter lenses available. To savely carry the lenses within the jacket bag a custom neopren bag to protect the wet diopter lenses will be available soon.
Sealux offers a new fisheye port with around 140 degree viewable area for Sony HC1 users. The fisheye can be mounted on the standard bajonett port. Another nice new gadget is the external 3,6" monitor in a 16:9 format, which is available with or without external controls.
For the more advanced and professional underwater movie makers Sealux presents a housing for the Panasonic AG-HVX200 HDTV camcorder. With it's 50 full frames per second the camera offers some nice options for slow motion videography. The heavy housing allows to change the battery pack and storage media without the need to remove the camcorder from the housing completely.
