Boot 2007 :: UK-GERMANY
There were already some rumors about 45 degree viewfinder prior the boot exhibtion,
but it could be seen and tested now in it's full beauty in the booth of UK-GERMANY.
The viewfinder can be mounted easily and allows a good view on the camera viewfinder.
Although it must be noted that it is necessary to look exactly in the optical axis
through the viewfinder, because otherwise it get's a bit blurry on the edges. But
with a little training this is easy to master we were told.
Pentax partnered on the booth of UK-GERMANY again and helped promoting the K10D with
the UK-GERMANY housing. Further new housings, which were presented on the UK-GERMANY
were the Nikon D80 and D200 housing, the canon 350D/400D housing and the Canon 5D housing.
For all 350D housing users their is a special UK-GERMANY deal. It is only necessary
to buy the housing back when upgrading to the Canon 400D.
Very positive is the switch from the hard anodized control elements to somewhat more controlable elements. The surface of the new control elements is a bit rough which translate in a good control feeling, at least at my first tries.
