Curacao Dive Festival 2008: We arrived!

The Curacao Dive festival starts on the 24th of May. Like every year the festival offers various interesting lectures in different locations around the island. Digideep joins the festival already for the second time. Andi Voeltz will give different lectures on underwater photography and filter photography and we will constantly upload live reviews from the festival. For now we show some pictures that we took in our first 2 dive days.

We arrived on Curacao on the 20th of May. Before the festival starts on the 24th we use the time to explore the calm western part of the island. Diving is very relaxed here ... most dives are shore dives. So you just grab your tanks, put them in the rental car and choose one of the various little bays. No dive time limit, hardly any current, fantastic UW scenery and a wonderful blue. Wideangle or Macro – everyone is happy and sometimes it is hard to choose lenses. Before we start reporting from the festival here are some shots we took in the first two dive days on the westside.
