DEMA 2006 TOP STORY: Adoring Peter Mooney!

A QUICK GUIDE ON HOW TO BECOME INSTANTLY FAMOUS IN THE DIVE INDUSTRY

Peter Mooney swarmed by (georgous looking) groupies!

Entrepreneurs may have already asked themselves how to become famous in the dive industry. A traditional way would be launching an IMAX Movie, website, photo course or a nice print publication. However Peter Mooney had a slightly different approach which got him a lot of exposure and fans.

Peter Mooney from Australia, who runs an underwater photo shop in Cairns had chosen the latter approach to ignite his career in the dive industry. His latest print project is a six pages, A4 sized, folded lepporello in which he described the phenomenal services of his own shop, enhanced by some digital underwater images.

After aggressively marketing his flyer by throwing it into the toilet cabin of DIGIDEEP’s editor Andi Voeltz, it did not take long until Peter managed to establish a fan base. Suddenly the AQUATICA booth was swarmed by attractive women fighting for Peter’s signature on the recently published flyer. We actually think that this is the strongest per page impact on people ever observed.

We are not sure if the source of this phenomenon is Peter's charming accent, special smell or the result of his recent restroom marketing campaign. At least results seem unpredictable when you hand in people a flyer from below while they were about to grab a piece of urgently needed toilet paper.

We know you cannot wait to see all the pictures...
They include the 12 best things we saw at DEMA!

Sadly, I never saw the 12 best things at DEMA. I must've been geeking out on the other side of the show floor. Thanks for sharing, Andi!
