Greetings from Israel
We arrived in Eilat on the Sinai Peninsula, were we are going to report from the second international SanDisk RedSea Photo Competition. Our Team has checked in at the Ambassador Hotel next to the Manta Diving Centre, where the competition will be held. Today we prepared our equipment and did some test shots in the pool and the local house reef. Everything is about to be ready for our LIVE WEBCAST from the competition, which will start on Monday 24th April 2006. We arrived early as Andi is conducting an instructor training for PADI’s new digital underwater photography course (D.U.P.) starting tomorrow. If you are from the area, pass by the Manta Diving Centre and ask for Lars or Andi, as we look forward to personally meet you. Meanwhile enjoy some photos...
On the pic' of Lars shooting with his new 350D housing, I would think to myself and say to you that he SHOULD get his hoses in better place!!!
NOT like you see the, 'octopus' & SPG hoses are running free down and can HURT the reef!!
Other than that... Welcome to Eilat and good luck.
Enjoy the red sea, the red meat & the red sun rise !
Eilat - the coral of the red sea !
You are completely right. After I saw that picture I fixed the hose to my bcd... and am now enjoying the red sea here in Eilat.
Sorry for the hoses guys! I had to tie him to the reef... Otherwise he never holds still for my photos ![]()
Welcome to Israel.
Hey Ilan, so sad we did not meet. I was looking forward to that. But we met your friend Arnon Ayal.
