Enhancing power!
Long-awaited now announced the successor of the Ikelite Substrobe DS-125.
The brandnew DS-160 shall replicate the success of the widely used precedessor.
An energy rating of 160 watt-sec, 5-watt LED modeling light, 9 fractional, full and TTL firing modes are the improvements of this new model.
The number of full power flashes reduces from 250 to 225 - that´s still enough for an intense day of diving. Recycle time now is 1,5 sec. (DS-125: 1 sec.) but that´s the time for full discharge, time for TTL and fractional flashes is much shorter.
The first new strobes will be delivered end of July. The DS-160 uses the same batteries, chargers, cords and arms as the DS-125. We´re waiting eagerly for the first pics taken with the strobe and for first reviews.
