Last call Beneath the Sea 2009
From March 27th till 29th Beneath the Sea 2009 will be held
in the Meadowlands Exposition Center, Secaucus, NJ. The yearly scuba and dive travel convention dedicated to increasing awareness of the earth's oceans and the sport of scuba diving features seminars and workshops, lots of great door prizes, a film festival showcasing the work of world-renowned underwater videographers, great parties, and exhibits and demonstrations by hundreds of manufacturers, dive clubs, dive shops, resorts, and much more! Each year, Beneath the Sea is pleased to give amateur underwater photographers and videographers a chance to compete with their peers from across the World. The deadline for submission to the 2009 competition ends on December 31st, 2008.
December 31st, 2008 is the last day for submitting entries to the Beneath the Sea 2009 International Imaging Competition.
The winners of the Beneath the Sea 2009 International Imaging Competition are announced at the Film Festival the weekend of Beneath the Sea's Oceans, Dive and Travel Exposition, March 27th, 28th, and 29th, 2009, at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey.

- Underwater photographers, digital and film, will compete for the coveted David Doubilet award for excellence in underwater photography.
- Underwater videographers will compete for the distinguished Stan Waterman award for excellence in underwater video.
- Underwater photographic artists will compete for the celebrated Jim Church award for excellence in underwater creative photography.
