Nikon finally with full-frame camera!

Nikon D3I think the product many underwater photographers were longing for was a full frame camera from Nikon. Finally it’s there and the name is Nikon D3! No hoax, not hidden catch. The only downside for the u/w-photographer might be the size. As Nikon only decided to go full frame on their humongous pro-body for the moment, the underwater photographer is missing a more handy version of this great finally full-frame camera, such as canon introduced it with their EOS 5D. Everybody who wants a more compact imaging device underwater from Nikon will have to go for the successor of the D200, the Nikon D300 that has also been announced today. It includes many of the new features, but does not have a full-frame sensor. Certainly interesting are the two new EXPEED image processors. Also both camera bodies feature LiveView on their LCD.
