Rumors about the Nikon RoadMap 2009-2010

Although in the world of underwater photography, leaks are usually abstained from by every possible way, we finally get the chance to experience a positive leak. There’s a chance that the Nikon RoadMap for 2009-2010 has been leaked, including detailed information regarding DSLR cameras, lenses and other goodies awaiting us. Of course there’s also a chance that this is a very successful wish list made up by a Nikon fan who, like many others, could simply not wait any longer for the improved D300 with HD video capabilities.

Has the Nikon RoadMap for 2009-2010 been leaked?
One morning, a man who works for a large IT company in England, supposedly involved with Nikon UK infrastructure and software, claimed that he had laid his hands on a 37-page set of notes which consists of detailed information regarding Nikon’s strategic plan for 2009-2010. Among the facts listed in these notes, he found the Nikon 2009-2010 product releases plan, which was immediately posted on a Czech forum. Although it has been confirmed that Nikon works with a third party company in the UK, it is still not clear if this post is a leak of trustful information, a fraud or a combination of common sense and wishful thinking.

As for me, I don’t ask questions or raise doubts. I am simply thankful for every day in which I am given the reasons to believe that Nikon is finally about to release an impressive 15.4 megapixels D4 camera and an awaited upgraded version of the D300, which features HD video capabilities.

This Nikon product roadmap for the coming year is either the real deal or a fanboy fantasy. Bubbling up onto the internet through a fissure in the Czech forum Grafika On-Line, the document supposedly originates in the UK from an anonymous source at a company that provides Nikon UK with IT services.

I'd love to be that guy with the 'Blad!
Yes I do use a Canon, but I'm not a fanboy. Nikon makes awesome cameras. I was just commenting on their rivalry and on how much worth it is for a company to have it's rival's roadmap in their hands.
