RED ONE camera housing from Zuccarini Watershot

Watershot Inc. and Zuccarini Films teamed up to build a custom underwater housing called WaterRED for the RED ONE camera. The housing for this high end production camera will be launch in the middle February most probably. It will feature all controls to operate the RED ONE camera and a 5.6" LCD monitor for optimal image control underwater.

Aquatica Designs a Housing for the Nikon D7000

Aquatica developers are nowadays working on a new housing for the Nikon D7000 camera. Once released, this housing will be called AD7000 and will be offered for an attractive retail price of 2,499 USD. Although AD7000 specifications haven't been announced yet, we can only assume it will feature the slim and relatively lightweight construction featured by other recently released Aquatica Housings, which seem to have gone on a serious diet. The housing should be released by the beginning of 2011.

Aquatica AT2i Housing is Now Shipping

Announced this past July, the super light and compact Aquatica AT2i housing for the Canon T2i/550 has undergone its complete field testing cycle and has now started shipping. The AT2i is made of high grade aluminum and is compatible with most strobes available in the market. Featuring a new retractable focus/zoom gear rack, a lens release lever and ergonomically positioned controls, the final version of this housing seems to offer quite a few upgrades and advantages over its first preproduction prototype.
