RED ONE camera housing from Zuccarini Watershot

Watershot Inc. and Zuccarini Films teamed up to build a custom underwater housing called WaterRED for the RED ONE camera. The housing for this high end production camera will be launch in the middle February most probably. It will feature all controls to operate the RED ONE camera and a 5.6" LCD monitor for optimal image control underwater.

Epson Red Sea 2009 Competition Album

The Epson Red competition has become a very popular event within the last years. It has attracted hundreds of underwater photographers from all over the world to the lovely Eilat, Israel. Raja Ampat Entrance Tag Design Contest

The yearly Raja Ampat entrance tag design contest, run by our friends from Wetpixel, is now open for submissions. Dig through your images and send them to the contest if you think it captures the excitement and beauty of scuba diving in Raja Ampat. The winner of the contest will be able to choose an all-inclusive, minimum 7-day dive trip at one of the following resorts or liveaboards in Raja Ampat. The submissions deadline is August 28, 2009.

Aquatica’s “HD WAVE”

Aquatica announced a new video underwater housing for the current Sony HDR-SR11/12 and the NEW Sony HDR-XR500V/520V HD camcorders. The housing comes with a 30 degree angled viewfinder for the large 3.2" LCD display of the camcorders and allows access to all important camcorder functions including the manual white balance. The manual white balance is especially helpful in combination with the flip filter Arm with UR Pro blue water color correction filter that this housing offers.
