I’m in the process of replacing my existing camera setup with a new one so that I can shoot HD video as well as stills. The C-8080 camera shoots 640x480 video and 8 MP stills. This setup has served me very well over the years with many of my photos ending up in identification guides, DVDs, academic/professional papers and other web sites. You can view some of them at http://www.geoffschultz.org/Photo_Index.php?id=16. If anything it shows that you don’t need a high-end system to produce good images. The key item in this setup, which took a long time to get right, was the addition of the TTL adapter from Heinrichs Weikamp which provides spot-on TTL control of the flashes.

It would be nice to sell this system as a whole, as it works so well, but due to practicality I’ll part it out. I’ll give priority to anyone wanting the whole thing.

Photos of all of the equipment are located at: http://www.geoffschultz.org/Ebay/UnderwaterCamera/

The PT-023 housing is practically new as I had a spare and my old one developed a leak a year ago. As a result it only got about 10 dives in since it was replaced. All of the strobes have cosmetic nicks and scratches. They work just fine and have never had any issues. All of the flashes have 5 pin type N cable connectors.

* Olympus C-8080 Wide Zoom 8.0 MP Digital Camera (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/olympusc8080wz/) - Black + circular polarizer & 1GB SD card - $125
* Olympus PT-023 Underwater housing with a Heinrich Weimap (http://www.heinrichsweikamp.net/#/en/olympusttl/) adapter. Also includes full set of O-rings, o-ring removal tool, grease and weight. If you want my old housing, you can have that too as the port on it is fine and it could be used for parts. Note that I don’t want to sell the OLY-TTL-PT-N separately as I don’t have the blank plug for the housing, but if no one wants the housing, I’ll sell separately. - $175
* Sea & Sea YS-90 Duo TTL Strobe with type N connector - $250
* Sea & Sea YS-90 Duo TTL/Auto Strobe with type N connector - $250
* Sea & Sea 5-pin Dual Sync Cord/N Part #03470 - $100

If you want the whole package, it’s $750 + shipping.

I also have the following strobe for sale which makes no sense with the above system:

* Sea & Sea YS-60 TTL/N (converted from type S to N) - $125[/list]

Note that I’ll charge whatever shipping costs are to ship to you and no more. If you want to pick it up, I’m located in Marlborough, MA.

Light and Motion’s line of solid state LED lights are an industry breakthrough. These 1000 lumen lights deliver light, more reliably and efficiently than the HID lights they replace.

Description

More Powerful and Reliable than HID Systems with Better Burn Times:

Light and Motion’s new line of solid state LED lights are an industry breakthrough. These 1000 lumen lights deliver light, more reliably and efficiently than the HID lights they replace. The 1000 lumen light consumes less than 12 watts of power, while delivering almost the same light output as the 22 watt HID. This is why we talk about lumens instead of watts with these new lights.

Powerful:

The sleek new design packs tremendous output in a compact light head. Multiple power levels yield 1000 lumens on High, when maximum light is required, or 500 lumens on Medium, doubling burn time and optimizing light for shooting macro subjects. You’ll also enjoy instant on/off control. No warm-up as exists with HID’s.

Reliable:

Solid state construction means extremely rugged, nothing to break—no need to open the light head. Completely reliable with 9 separate LED’s in each light head (18 total per system). The LEDs are rated by the manufacturer at 50,000 hours service life. You should never need to replace a bulb again.

Advanced Reflector Design:

Proprietary Micro Peened Reflector Technology is unique to Light & Motion lights and was developed specifically around the characteristics of LEDs. The 9 LED micro peened reflector produces a wonderfully even beam pattern with no hot spots and no light reduction for superior video results.

Convenient:

The Li-ion batteries power the light head at full power for 65 minutes. The 3 power levels allow you to extend your burn time to 130 minutes at 500 lumen output. The instant on/off control helps manage the dreaded swarmies for your night shots. The Multichem Fast Charger refuels the memory-free Li-ion batteries in 1.5-hours.

Technical Information:
•1000 lumen output at 12 watts
•Three power settings (High, Medium, and Low)
•5500K Color Temperature
•Charge time of 1.5 hours
•65 minutes of burn time on high, 130 on low
•Multi-Chem charger accepts 110v-220v range
•Memory-free NiMH batteries
•Self switching 110/240v Multi-Chem charger

Independent Test Results:
•Lumens: 980
•Color Temperature: 6585 K
