I am still an avid underwater photographer; after my G9 got dropped by accident (which still drives me mad) I am looking for a replacement. I really liked the G9 but I am now looking for G12 as the G9 is discontinued.

The thing with the G12 is that it is advertised to fit into the G11 housing. I would think the front wheel would not be functionable anymore… but would that be a big bother? (I hear the frontwheel can be disabled from the menu.. how’s the experience?)

Should I go for the G12 or the G11?
