Hi,

I came across onderwaterfoto.net and see that amongst other digideep competition entries, this site has my entry and is tring to palm it off as their (Joost’s) own picture along with a watermark from their website! see http://www.onderwaterfoto.net/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=35

It also appears that the site owner is more than willing to provide “high res” copies to anyone who asks for a copy!
The site is also using underwaterphotography.com’s copyrighted logo! see http://www.onderwaterfoto.net/page.php?1

The site owner claims to be a PADI instructor and teaches PADI underwater photography courses. I wonder what PADI will have to say about this practice of copyright infringement by one of their instructors - I’ll be finding out shortly…

Anyone who has entered into photo of the week on digideep might want to check to see if their photos have been put on there along with the site’s watermark.

Is this site/person associated with digideep?

NEW Sony HDV-Z1U for 1399U$ from bestpricecameras.com?

Dear all,

I am looking for a Sony HDV-Z1U and visited B&H;photo video web site where I found the Z1U for 4600U$.
A mate of mine suggested to check out bestpricecameras.com and I was surprised to find a HDV-Z1 for 1399U$!
What I can’t figure out is whether it’s the same camera, it sure looks the same, even the product information. Is there maybe a difference between HDV-Z1U and HDV-Z1? The U is missing, what am I missing?!
If it is the same camera, howcomes there is such a huge price difference?
If not, what is the difference between the two cameras?
Has anyone dealt with both stores?

I am about to buy a Phenom housing from Jim Kegley, JDK Designs Inc who told me; Z1U’s, Believe me, are not available for the price you have seen!
Is it all a trick?
Is there anyone out there who can advice me?

Is it ok to buy a Underwaterhousing at ebay.com in Japan? Its much cheaper then in Germany. 370->190 Euro

Have I pay toll or not?
