Hi Zornes,

great picture and among my favourites this week. Very vibrant colors and good
usage of depth of field to improve a the image depth. But could you please
tell us, which housing and lense you used?

ciao lars

I second that, from what I have seen and heard in the right hands we will see some awesome photos come out of the Canon 5d.

Looks like it was a 100mm macro lense shot to me, but I am often wrong with those sorts of guesses.

Greetings sir,

I am using a prototype from BK Undrwarter systems, which is a underwater diving helmet company locally here in florida. Makers of commercial diving helmets and tools. Some of the guys in the shop are toying around with a few older housings and steeling parts to make this work. These guys are amazing in the underwater world of equipment makers.

As for the lens it is the Canon 28mm - 105mm f3.5 4.5 lens.

As for the strobes there is really 3. The 480x is in the hot shoe which bonce to the SB105 as slaves. This ##### but it is a prototype. I have ordered the Aquatica housing as with the advice I received from this forum. A did not see the advantage of spending $2000.00 more on black lining in the seacam housing. I am sure it has to have something more than the fabric to wisk away water to increase it value by $2000.00. But I could not find it.

Thanks for the kind words… now vote for me!

Regards,

####, the camera is good but what about the photographer… I was pretty good too… Don’t you think?

No really, this is a sweet camera I am waiting on a 14mm lens and on a 60 mm macro. But if I can get this type of shots out of the 28-105mm I just might stick with it.

By the way now my model (the  Leafy Sea dragon) is mad that you did not say anything about her talents…

Thanks for the kind words.
