Hi all,

the best one of them all is the Look from technisub.... at least if you need “corrected glasses"…

...no glamor at all!

I think that will be a little disturbing.
Anyone got experience with that mask?

It looks very interesting, though.
= I wanna dive it!

I did a dive in Sweeden some year’s ago with the Ocean Reef Mask.
It’s a nice mask but not when using camera.
You cant se anything thru the cam.

Some people have used it .. there is a thread over on wetpixel about the mask
.. actually a few threads about it ... i don’t see it as any advantages for a
photographer .. it will make it harder to see your viewfinder

.. you need low volume for photography.

Lol Lars ...

And Lars .. yes that could be a bit wider. There used to be, i don’t know if there is anymore
but there used to be a Mini Shadow and a Regular Shadow. The mini shadow was invented
for girls, but actually ended up being a better fit for most people, and was the one i had.

Giles finally found my back up mask, it is the same size as my older Shadow, but the top skirt seems not to be quite as wide, close, but not quite.

All other parts seem the same size wise as my old Shadow.  Seems there are places still selling both.  I purchased the second as a regular Shadow, not a mini - was the skirt size the difference between the two?

to be honest .. i was half joking ..

i knew there were the mini-shadow and the shadow .. but don’t know exactly what the differences were.

i’d imagine the mini shadow only had a smaller skirt so that it fit smaller faces better.

Manufacturers like to change as little as possible to keep costs down.

Found my back up Shadow smile Seems to be about the same size, though the skirt looks slightly different in size when I put them next to one another.

Just got to hope my trusty old one keeps on going.  Starting to look a bit long in the tooth though
