On this site, what does the green, yellow, gray or red box mean next to cameras and housings? Does it denote age of the product, reviews, or something else entirely? I can not find any Color Key or Color meaning on the Search option.

here is the color code (yes, we should make this more clear):

green: product is available
yellow: product is announced, but not available yet
red: product is not produced anymore
grey: we don’t know any of the above status

Unfortunately I can’t at the moment bring that thread out of the archive .. but hopefully you can view it there.

The other way to see what the colour tabs mean is to let your mouse hover over them .. then their meaning comes true.

They are to do with the availabilty.

red = sold out
yellow = product is announced, but not available yet
green = available
blue = announced for the future
grey = we don’t know any of the above status
