Hi… I just saw that the website is finally back online.
The dates have been announced…
November 12-17 2007, in Eilat.

Who of you plans going there?
With some Germans we might be able to organize a
cheaper group transfer. Let us know if you wanna go!

It also would be more fun to travel there together..

Hi,

for me it is definitly too expensive this year downer downer. Acc. + diving package round about 900€ plus the flight. Maybe in 2008! I think it is really a lot of fun, right? In my opion this is the perfect trip to learn some advanced skills on uw-shootings smile

How many guests were there the years before, do you know this? I know that one underwater superstar is there, right Andi? smile

Greetings, Adrian

Wooops,… I did not read that part… So expensive?

Last year they had really good rates. We flew down
via Sharm El Sheikh for around 200 EUR plus 35 EUR
for an airconditioned Bus transfer to Eilat/Taba.

Also this year I compute:

69 EUR x 6 days = 414 EUR
plus tank fillings and food during the day…
Salads and burgers on the Beach are really
affordable and taste great.

As far as I understood Pilo (the Organizer), the
guided dives is something for people who want
to get quickly dialed in. If you just want to go
for taking photos, all you need is a filled tank
and you can walk over the street to dive.

I just read that you get unlimited refills and
two optional guided dives per day for 130 EUR
So that makes a sharp calculated combo for 779 EUR
And you might walk home with 10.000 USD wink

Hi,

I also liked the competition last year. I did not compete but plan to do it this year in the video section.
I heard that Oceanic sponsored 7000 USD for the first price for video taken on site.

Last year after the event Dudu - the center manager - arranged a very nice dive at one of the Eilat fish farms.
Enclosed are three pictures also one of me with Dudu and one of Andi being happy to leave the water after
having to dive in his shorty. Eilat is really surprise by being a different spot on the Red Sea.

Sylvie
