Hi

I have just got the G9 and the house for it. The only control, that is not available from outside is the “dial” around the “navigation buttons”. Most functions will work without this, but I cant seem to be able to adjust the exposure compensation (+/-) without this controll ?

Any hints ?

I do realize, that the camera offers possibilities for 2 (3) preset modes (it actually also remembers the settings in P), so basically, I can do settings for as well ambient light, internal flash and external lamp before packing the camera, but I would still like to be able to play with the exposure

Anyway,.. without digging into the details, I would recommend you to shoot manual.
That is the “M” Mode on your Canon G9. It will work best underwater and give you
full control over all camera features such as aperture and exposure.

Hi Andi

Of course for the shots, where you have the time to be 100&#xma;nual, thats the ay, but often, you need to be prepared to “point and shoot” ;o)
