The Cardinal Fish similar to the jawfish - protects its young in its mouth.

This is a rare sight according to my friend who is a marine biologist. This parenting last only for one week.

So I was pretty bless to have seen this.

But the story is that I actually did not see the eggs. I only noticed that this fish was yawning and displaying his teeth at me

So I decided to take a few snap shots. When I got back to the resort, my friend was checking my camera, and he shouts… it has EGGS!

I said now way!

Hey Tankado,

thanks for your create images… It would be great if we see more of them in
our weekly contest. I really like them.

For the forum I would suggest that you pload the pictures instead of linking
as some people might have problems watching the image completely through
the layout of the forum. If you upload them to the forum, small thumbnails
underneath your post will appear. The full size image can then be accessed
by clicking on the thumbnail image. This way your posts are easier to read
on small monitors and the image will be shown in a better way in a separate
window.

Lars

I was wondering if you could look into something for me.

I shoot with a DSLR camera (I don’t crop) when I resize my images to max length of 800 pixels for my longest side. The corresponding opposite side is 533 pixels.

The contest only allows 800 x 600 - would it be possible to Submit 800 x 533 ? I don’t really know how to post edit aside from watermarking.

Tankado,

what program do you use to watermark and we can give you a quick walk through on how to resize easily.

the best bet is just to resize so the shortest side is 600 instead of the longest side being 800 and then it will all be fine !

I will give that a shot so just set the shorter side to 600.... ok.

Hey Tankado,

it would be better if you resize it to a bigger resolution like
1200x 900 (or something similar). This way the image file
size is still small enough for the upload and we can take
care of the resizing of the image.

ciao Lars
