Has anybody already tried u/w-photography when
being behind a full face mask? I can imagine that is
difficult to get a decent look through the viewfinder.

Any tipps & tricks are appreciated, as I am
going to try it in the not so distant future.

With my kamera.......That wont happend again.

O’h ya it was with EOS 5 in Ikelite housing and when shooting
analog you dont have the LCD screen to look at.

Hi again.

I got this idea last year. Take one of these Digital Viewfinder from ZigView.
Split it apart so it can fit between the back of the camera and the housing.
Then you have 2,5” liveview.

hi andi,

we had one diver here some weeks ago diving with a fullface masc and a fx1 bluefin housing ... but he had a monitor on the back of the housing, so i don’t know how it would be with the viewfinder ... but he said it workes “allright” ... still he was using the monitor.

just by looking i was not convinced of the concept ... if water is freezing ok. but otherwise ... somehow just in the way. after some up and down current he struggled shooting and equalizing at the same time and gave up and took a normal mask and his octopus ...
