The additional info requested by Andi would be very helpful, however, the UFL-01 does not use a sync chord at all. To synchronise, it has a light sensor on its underside which detects another strobe/flash going off, and triggers the UFL-01s flash.
So to sync your c-750 to the UFL-01, the flash on the C-750 has to fire, and the UFL-01 has to be close enough to the C-750’s housing that its detector receives some of the light from the C-750. What you will need to do is block the forward path of light from the camera’s flash so that it doesn’t reach the subject of your photo, but in such a way that light can still ‘splash’ upwards towards your UFL-01 to trigger it.
If the strobe arm allows you to move the UFL-01 around, you will need to be careful that the sensor still points towards the camera’s flash, and that it is not too far away from the camera, and that there is nothing shadowing or blocking the camera’s flash from reaching the sensor.
It would have been nice if Olympus could have made the UFL-01 with the sensor on the end of a cable that you could attach to your camera housing, so you could move the strobe around freely, however, it would probably have caused the UFL-01 to be quite a bit more expensive…
hope that helps
