Thanks Serge
yes I also tried that unfortunately I was not patienced enough and I think my focusing light mounted above the lens kind of caused the fisch always to keep turning away (I think) might should try to align the torch from the site next time. I also noticed that it is not easy to get a clear view to the eyes from the front (of cause patience would be a solution)
hi Jeffrey,
yes the dime in Anilao was very good but as always much to short........... The first day when we arrived I was kind of not sure if the if we would fit in, since there was already a big groub of experienced regular guests and scientist. the check dive was at Mato Point where the tide also caused some trash to be collected (but relay not a lot). Since it also was the first Muck dive for us this was kind of shocking since my wife and I did the last dive before that at the Myanmar Banks.
At the second five I had then my camera to play with so I did not care a lot about corals or other stuff....... The big group of other guests turned out to be a very nice company and the boats the dive boats hardly ever met at the various dive locations in the area. The two American guys on our boat where also photographers very relaxed. Food was very good, people where very friendly. The accommodation is basic but good, also what we looked for. I can not compare it to other Macro dive areas but I definitely like to go back. Now back in Switzerland I really miss it.
We missed a bit the possibility to go far a walk on the beach but between the 4-5 dives it also takes a lot of time to get the camera gear ready.
We might be able to meet next time!
