Hi,

I just wanted to say congratulations to Peter Sinclaire from Chile for his
very strong shot in this week’s underwater photo contest. I especially
like the composition and the expression in the animals face.

So everybody else is encouraged to give him some lovin’ for it.
I think his photo really deserves it grin I have attached a copy of
his shot so you do not need to jump back and forward to sea it!

Andi

Many thanks for your words Andy… I know that was an extremely lucky shot… one of those one always dream to catch, and I am so glad that this time it was not spoiled by a an out focus or moved subject (except for the right fin as Sylvie points out) and that the water was so clear… It was my last dive day of a wonderful week in Cozumel and that turtle was swimming together with another one; we saw a total of 4 in the dive. I will soon post the other pictures in my photo site in pbase (http://www.pbase.com/psinclai)

Dear Andreas,

I am wondering what happened to the POTW of last week (52) contest… It seems that all voting was erased, probably as a result of the site hacking you suffered. I know my photo was not perfect but seemed as a sure candidate for winning..

Hey Peter,

the votes haven’t been erased, but I didn’t checked them yesterday
as it is my usual routine every sunday. I hope you can understand wink.
But it’s ok by now grin and congratulation to the wonderful winning
picture.
