THis housing looks promising [similar to Gates] but the Sony’s F series do not have TTL. I use the Amphibico Surveyor II housing and I had to buy their newly developed “Light Sensing Device” which simulates TTL pretty well. BUT it is an extra expense AND an extra piece of sensitive equipment I must “lug” and maintain. But I use [2] Ikelite DS50s with mine and it works like a top! The big drawback to their housing for me is you do not have access to all functions of the camera, since most controls are electrical and not manual. BUt I am anxious to see your finished product!

I haven’t seen anything new here in a bit.  Where is 10bar at?

Uwe Kiehl informed us today that only two people were seriously interested in the modificated version of this housing. Therefore he had to cease his efforts in further developements… :cry:

Just heard that the 10Bar housing for the F-828 is available and selling for USDS950.

I am going to buy one in the next 8 weeks so I’ll let you know how it goes.
