Hello I have a Y90Auto strobe. I’d like to buy the oly 5050 (or 5060) with the Ikelite housing, the only proof for more than 40m .
Now my question is can I use the TTL feature of Ikelite housing connecting it with my Sea&Sea Y90 Auto, which has provision for standard 5pin cables (nikonos type)?

the 40m limit for the oly PT-020 ca be extended to 45m based on your experience?

Hi luca,
I think 45 m isnot a problem for the housing it is srong enough to stay to 50 m and more because there ist at minimum 25 % securety in the 40 m rating. But there is no garanty :( .
You also have no garanty for 40 m !!! when floating your cam how you will proof the depth ?
If you choose the PT20 there is no problem with the YS90 and direkt Oly TTL conection
I am just manufactoring a own Sea and Sea / Olympus cord for direkt connection it lasts about 4 weeks I hope.
