I don’t often share many images, but I thought I would post a few of my favourites from this year. Taken soley in South Africa during the Sardine Run in June and A couple of my favourite critters here in the Cayman Islands.
I tried different hosts etc .. still nothing ... i got one preview where it worked and then it didn’t work after posting and it all seems done correctly.
welcome to our new Forum… We appreciate your support as always!
We have to investigate that. I still do not have a clue why hot-linking other sites images does not work.
I have enabled the flag for that and we will need a little more time to investigate. However, you may
want to try our Image-Upload which already works fine. That also makes you independent from other
sites availability. I bet it’s great with FLICKr but might be critical with others…
hey giles it’s working now.. through the quick help
from Paul Burdick from pmachine, who just
did what I did yesterday with the old installation -
switching the image hot linking on and off.
UPDATE: I was wrong I just didn’t see the small link “Show Preferences”
underneath each forum page in the administration panel. I just changed
the global settings for the forum, which only will be taken as default,
when new forums will be created.
and amazing images, Giles! I still do not have one single whale in my portfolio.
I think I have to change that as soon as possible. However the Dolphin is my
favorite among the ones you presented here. You just managed to trigger your
camera in the right second for that one.
Cheers, Andi
PS: Lars and I should plan a trip to Cayman… finally!
With weather like that you’ll be quite happy staing indoors and working on the forums then !!! 8P he he
you guys are more than welcome in Cayman .. we love David Hasslehoff here as well !
if you arrange to come maybe it could be when Alex is here as well .. I should be here for another year .. then I may be getting kicked off for being here too long then I have no idea what I will do .. but I will hope the rules change or I can bend them enough to stay here.
It’s on my todo list as well as the integration of google, youtube video buttons for the forum as suggested from giles ...
I just added the youtube button to the post edit form. You can now use:

or just use the youtube button on top to add a video to the post.
You can find the code for any youtube video on each youtube page.
or in the page url.
