Just got back from Costa Rica

Was a great vacation, but the diving kinda sucked (so this is for Aug Sept time of year)

Not on a live aboard Coco’s was out of range obviously.

I was staying at Playa Flamingo (right onshore from Catalina Isl.

This meant i was guarenteed the second best. (Cat and Bat are said to be great)

Vis was maybe 30ft
All sharks were sleeping (white tips) so there were no as suggested schooling hammerheads.
No Whale Sharks
No Mantas
No Cow nosed rays
No Mobula Rays
A few schools of fish

but nothing special, maybe I amn spoilt working in Grand Cayman, but it was interesting to see different stuff, but it was no where near what it has been cracked up to be.
