well, you and me must be the only people that thought that as i only got 2 votes for it.
People go mental over sharks and dolphins no matter how good the photo is. Shame as it has made me stop entering even for fun for the time being.
Until I luck upon some subject matter to match.

Anyway, no alteration, a little cropping, which I could have done better to uncenter the image a little more, and I added a little blue. The ocean had a green tint to it that day so I got ris of the green tint (happens in Cayman in the summer with the algae blooms and low tide.

As for the photo, just shut down the camera, F10 and SS 1/800. Pointed the camera at the sun and waited for the Turtle to swim by, I am lucky that focus doesn’t play too much in Silhouette shots as I think this may be out a touch.
Is that enough info?
Oh and turn ya strobe off.
I will post the original later on.

I did this the other day and even wrote some more about it.

You’ll notice that the original is
1. Greener (I added a blue filter)
2. Image cropped to get a better Thumbnail. (I need to grab attention while it was a thumbnail as Digideep has most photos in Thumbnail only until clicked on)
3.The cropping ruined the composition of thirdds I had used originally
4. I am sure I wrote more the first time but the post has been deleted.

Anyway .. just the before pic now:
