Yes, unfortunately it is another picture were we need to cut donw the votes. The vote source seems to come from the same IP-Range and votes were given in a very short interval. All originating from the Middle East.

Even though the picture looks properly exposed and shows no backscatter the photgrapher still needs to work on his composition. However I just took a look at the camera and housing and think that it is a good job with this gear!  8) The artist should go ahead… Maybe next week.

But this week he cannot match with “reef squid” according to our jury.

Thank you for your quote but it seems that you’re judging the camera and not the result it gave rolleyes [color=yellow:1997ad1c32][/color:1997ad1c32]

That’s not true!

The camera can produce great pictures if properly used. Just check this inspiring picture by another user:

I appreciate your constant contributions, q8Dragon. We all started with a lot to learn and still keep learning. What I ment when I reffered to the camera is that you did a very good job to get so close to the goby. I know from my Coolpix 990 time that it is very hard to accomplish in macro mode. I did many similar pictures. But I had to face that what used to make me proud is very easily accomplished with another tool. For example the 100mm macro on a DSLR. My tip is that you experiment more with objects that are easy to do with your gear. Otherwise you will always be stomped and frustrated by people who can do the same shots easier with different gear.

If you want to upgrade I recommend to buy an external strobe first. That will bring more color to your images

KEEP SHOOTING!
