Hello all,

I’ve been shooting with the Sony P-10 for two years unterwasser, and I am only now really getting a handle on getting the shots I want.  Unfortunately, that’s been more of a result of taking the pictures I know how to take more often.  Before I was getting about 1% of my photos turn out great, and about 19% turning out acceptable, and the rest were garbage.

I now set the manual focus to .5m, flash at normal, and EV -0.7.  I get some really nice pics 90% of the time and the colours come through.  Unfortunately, I have only once gotten a really nice macro shot to work, and it was of a goldfish in a pond :( I really like Helmut Theiss’ use of the P10, and I was wondering if he or others have some tips or tricks they’d like to pass on.

Ryan check out my site especially the camera setup link and then email me with your specific questions. I shot over 15,000 images with the P-10 underwater and about 99% of the shots on my site are from the P-10.
