These pics were taken at Scapa Flow last week at between 35 and 45m It was dull and rough on the surface

wow, nice portraits. i do not think i’ve seen such setups before, well i’m more into free diving, and i’m really curious about what these do.

is this some sort of a closed SCUBA system (i see no bubbles) with some special gas mixture, maybe for deep sea diving?
