Hi there,
Just to keep you in the loop and just in case you may know of anyone interested.

I will be putting up for sale my whole HDV filming equipment (8 months old) within the next six months to make way for RED One. I’d like to think I may be able to keep a hold of it as well as RED but that may not be an option.

As such I have the following for sale:

Camera / Housing / Accessories:
Sony HVR-Z1U 3CCD HDV CamCorder
Gates Z1 dedicated housing with the additional Shutter Speed/WB set/ Gain functions
2 x Buoyancy units for the housing as well as the complete set of trim weights.
2 x Adjustable Hand Grips
1 x Standard Foot rest for use with SWP44 - slightly modified
1 x Dome Port (ground glass) and 1 spare glass dome
1 x Flat Port (ground glass) and 1 spare flat element
1 x Fathom Engineering SWP44 - 120 degree external wide angle lens w/full telephoto characteristic
1 x E419 - Gates 4” external monitor
8 x Canon rechargeable AA’s with charging units (for E419)
1 x Gates WB slate on flexible arm with base mount for housing
1 x Century Optics achromatic diopter +3.5
1 x Century Optics achromatic diopter +2
1 x Raynox x11 super macro achromatic lens
1 x Gates Tripod
1 x Sony VCL-HG082 .6x wide angle lens
1 x Century Optics OVS-07CV-HDS .7x Wide Angle HD Converter Lens (never used - still in box)
1 x 86mm Heliopan Circular Polarizing Filter (never used - still in box)
2 x sets of 72mm single element diopters (+2, +3 and +4)

Lighting:
1 set of Green Force Squid 250 HID lighting
Inc. 2 x Light heads
2 x Flexi III Battery Packs - modified with clips for diver portability
2 x Chargers
Universal adapters for International charging
Assorted adjustable support arms for light heads

Batteries etc:
2 x Sony NPF970 infoLithium Batteries (no memory) - main battery selection for daily use. Swap out day on / day off.
3 x Sony NPF730 infoLithium Batteries (no memory) - mostly used from VX1000 and Z1
1 x Sony NPF570 infoLithium Battery (no memory) - never used - saved as a backup battery.
2 x Sony AC-VQ800 Charging Units

I’m in the process of putting a price list for the equipment listed above. For the attractive items such as the SWP44 and the other W/A lenses and Achromatic diopters I would be ready to split. For the camera / housing / ext. monitor / lights and other housing accessories I would prefer to keep as one.

If you, or anyone you know, may be interested in this as a complete lot then I’d appreciate you let them know of the availability. I will have a better idea as to when the above will become available as and when plans are set for RED One delivery.

All of the equipment is in flawless condition and is 100% ready to go. The lighting rig is not even three months old!! Buyer pays for shipping and handling.

Cheers,
Mark.

Hi Lars,
The complete system with SWP44 and the Green Force Lighting units cost me $24,000 over the past 6 to 8 months. I am still figuring the complete breakdown out but I imagine the cost to someone looking to buy the complete set, lock, stock and barrel would be around $18,000 therefore saving $6000.

Cheers,
Mark.
