I need some assistance or a push in the right direction, on choosing a strobe set up for my Olympus C-770. Its housed in a olympus housing. I have know idea how to get started I have about a $800 dollar buget for tray strobe and connecting wires.  I would like to use a strobe that I can connect to the hot shoe of my camera. But I don’t know if the conections are staight foward or if I will need some sort of adapters. I have been looking and sea and sea and inon strobes I just don’t know whats the best. I don’t want to have to use my on camera flash to fire the strobe. The battery life on the camera isn’t great. So if I can just fire the strobe that would be great. Oh I also would like to have a strobe I can use with another camera. Hopefully one day I can afford to house my Nikon D-80. Well thank for any suggestiions.
