Hi,

Just thought I would introduce myself.  I’ve been taking underwater video for a little while now.  I have a Sony VX2100 with an Ikelite houseing and the 100watt pro light system.  Hope to meet up with like minded divers who love to video underwater and exchange ideas.

I have put some of my video on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/divetheworld of you’re interested in checking it out.  I would be very interested to hear what you think of my small efforts.

Hi Steve,

welcome to digideep. Your custom page on youtube looks cool. did you know that you can
integrate your videos here in forum? I just added one of yours here to demonstrate it.

This way we can more easily discuss the videos. I liked in particular your music, which is
not that typical dive video sound, which anyone gets so used to.

Yea I did know but I thought I would just give the youtube URL and let people choose.

I like the celtic music that I’ve chosen as it’s adds to the mood.  Besides, I don’t want to be the typical undewater cameraman. (grin)

I’ve been doing it for a couple of years now.  I first started with a cheap camera and had some very questionable results as it would focus on anything in the water but since I’ve upgraded to a VX2100 it seems to focus straight through particles in the water and straight onto what I’m filming.  I went to whole hog with it too as I upgraded my computer and software to an iMac 20 running Final Cut Studio Professional.
