Just wanted to show off my sideshow effort I have posted on http://www.youtube.com.  Its another way of getting your images out there I suppose....Although I have to say, the quality sux grin

I created a collection of images using proshow producer. http://www.photodex.com/
Added the music (moby) and saved out custom divx size (240 by 320 I think it was).  You can sync the slideshow to last for the duration of the music, which is pretty nice.
I couldn’t get the size smaller than 70mb.  I thought it would have been smaller than that, given the dimensions.  But it was my first time so maybe I was doing something wrong.
Anyway, I uploaded it to you tube and some minutes later it was online.  I originally planned to put lots more on one slideshow but the file size was just too big (over 100mb).  Ended up doing two slideshows....Which I think was a better option..... wink

Have a nice day…

Hi Derek,

thanks for sharing this here! Great memories are coming up, when I see
your pictures of our Shark Trip with JASA. Keep up the good work and
“yes” we should find the time to dive again, soon. wink

Hi Derek,

I would like to start a thread here, how to make a neat online presentation of images.

I just added a slideshow to our curacao article, made with a new online tool called vuvox.
have a look here:
http://www.digideep.com/go/info/html/curacao-dive-festival-2007-live-webcast/P4

This tool allows to integrate photos and videos within one single show. Sound is not supported
yet, but will be added soon I think. There are different styles for the presentation. The quality is
a bit better then yours. Another way would be to use the flickr slideshow tools.

So what else is on the market to get a nice online slideshow presention?

ciao Lars
