for me, considering I have logged 100 dives and only about 40 with a camera, did my 100th dive in the Red Sea in Feb this year( that was the last time I was really in the water :(( ). But being a bit cheeky, I decided to enter one or two competitions, Big ones, the GDT “European Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2007” and came away with Highly Commended.there were some absolutely beautiful photos at the festival exhibition in Lünen, Germany.
Then came Antibes just for a laugh, of course I didnt win anything, But!, I received an email from a French journalist asking about one of my photos that was being used as part of a promotion packet, and see there, it was in a slide show with photos from Michael Aw, Charles Hood, Franco Banfi, Felipe Barrio, and few more great names, that for me was a great honour. This made me a bit noisy and I found two more photos ( Loinfish and an Anemonen fish) on the official HP from Antibes. Anyway thats about it really I think it was a great year.
So jetzt muss ich meine Graue Starr entfernen lassen :((
