homemade housings help

ok first off im starting a project right now for my finepix A350 ( i know old , and not so great of a camera) well this is just a start but if all goes well i will be making a housing for another camera, this is just a test run… Well i have majority of it down but have one problem BUTTONS. Any ideas of how i can make buttons or buy button for an underwater housing. Also open to any cleaver ideas i know a couple but dont know how im going to get them to work, so im basically stuck. Thankz for all the help

You could try Ikelite USA, they have buttons as a spare part. I bought some years ago from them, to use in a housing I made.

Depending on your abilities, it could not be so hard to design buttons yourselvf ? - I made a complete videohousing for a Canon once with all controlls. Try to lokk at the principle in the cheap off the shelf housings for compacts - they are normally just a spring loaded 2 mm stainless steel shaft passing trhough a couple of o-rings. You will of course need to do some experiments, so you get the dimensions right: Keeping it water tight, but still loos enoght to operate wink
