The National Geographic holds a monthly photo contest. Submissions of not more than 5000 is allowed.
Each day (Monday to Friday) the Editor of National Geographic picks the best 12 out of all the submissions from around the globe.
At the end of the month, from the daily dozen - 2 of the best photos will be published in National Geographic Magazine.
My photos were chosen last month and this month as one of the daily dozen. So I have a chance to get published in the print edition of National Geographic.
