Hi There,

I have now been back for almost 4 weeks since my holiday to Southern Africa.  The trip started in Capetown where I spent a couple of days beofre doing a road trip along the Garden route to Durban (and 7 days is not long enough). From Durban I was taken down to Moboyti (about 25klms north of Port St John on the Transkai ~ 4 hrs drive south of Durban) to part take in the Sardine run. and waht an experience it was the first day in the water I was snorkling with a Humpback Whale.  There were some quiet days but others were mind blowing with the true “Blue Planet” experience with a bait ball that had dolphins, sharks (several species), Cape Gannets, tuna, a cape fur seal and to cap it off a lunge feeding Bryde’s Whale.  After the Sardine run I went another road trip for three weeks through Botswana and Namibia were tha land action and secenery almost exceeded (but definitely matched) the Sardine Run. I have Lions fighting within 3-15m of the car and al sorts of other animals.  I have attached 4 Galleries from the trip. One for the road trip from Capetown to Durban, the Sardine Run, Botswana and Namibia.  I hope that you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them in the first place.
