Hi,

I have just put together a kit based on the Olympus e-620.

Olympus PT-e06 housing

2 Olympus UFL-2 strobes connected via fiber optic cables

Fisheye FIX LED500 focus light

PPO-e05 port with the kit 14-52mm lens and the 35mm macro lens.

Ultralight arms and tray

So far I have only used it in a pool… so far so good. I will be diving with it in Hawaii next week so I will get back to you with the results.

Hi Aquashot,

cant wait to see how this all works out for you, can i ask where you got your arms from? i purchased a good tray but had those silly bedny arms that keep breaking, i will purchase some more…................its never ending the money you spend on this kind of kit!

Are you going to try to use a red filter on your Olympus?

regards

Hi Aquashot,

I know it’s been a few months but am wondering if you could post any accounts of your Olympus E620 set-up.

thanks very much,

Hey Aquashot,

do you have some pictures from your setup? Do you already have some nice pool shots?
Would love to see some of the pictures in our picture of the week (potw) contest.

ciao Lars

Here is a shot taken with my new rig.

It is a Hawaiian Dascyllus taken while diving the southern Kauai dive sites.

Dascyllus albisella

Hawaiian Name: ALO’ILO’I

Endemic to Hawaii.  Attains 5 inches.  Common among Antler and large Cauliflower corals where they take refuge.  Feeds upon zooplankton.  Juveniles have tall fins and one or two bluish white marks dorsally.  May appear black with round white spot at mid-dorsal region.  Related to Dascyllus trimaculatus of the Indo-Pacific.
