Further to my earlier post on cage diving with the Great Whites at Dangerous Reef and the Neptune Islands in South Australia, I have also updated the Technique section of my site http://www.indopacificimages.com/ with a comprehensive page on photographing the Great White.

Here is the link: http://www.indopacificimages.com/index.php/technique/great-white-shark-photography/

There is also a Great White image gallery on this link: http://www.indopacificimages.com/index.php/image-galleries/great-white-sharks/

I have been spending a LOT of time on my site getting it all upto date and would greatly appreciate constructive feedback (positive or negative…).

Hi Don,

I don’t often post here, but felt compelled after having viewed your site: you clearly have invested time and effort getting it right.

Love your photos, I am no expert by any means, but i know what I like and some of yout frames are classic - there is one in particular that intrigues me: shark open-mouthed, exposure or fill light a little low, but looks like it could be a ripper with a little more attention in Lightroom or CS.

Loved your website, nice graphics, easy to follow, clear update on where, when and what to bring.

I now live in Adelaide, so am particularly interested in this trip.

Most evocative shot for me was one of shark head close to bars, which gives a sense of scale of these magnificent creatures…..

LOL! Just remember that most of the diving round here is without cages…....although shark shields are deployed a fair amount….had a look at image 1 on your Great White Shark gallery - with a bit of lightening to bring out the teeth, it is a classic shot…...
