hey krischops,

thats hard to tell were to start. If you are going to invest in
a dslr setup you surely want to buy a strobe, otherwise you
would be very upset with the outcoming pictures.

What are your skills right now? Did you ever shoot with a
slr camera? Do you have a digital compact camera right now?
What are your goals? All of the above mentioned cameras are
good. Some are newer, but all will do good underwater?
So much of your choice is depending on what you want to
achive?

ciao Lars

All cameras above are fine , may it helps:
Canon 350 older
Nikon D70 older than D70s
Canon 400 cheaper than D80
lenses from Nikon a little better, the lenses from Tokina/Tamron/Sigma for all the Systems the same
Housings available for all cameras between 999.-€ up to 2500.-Euro( maybe more)
Flashes for D-SLR manuell mode available for 450.- and more
Flashes for DSLR TTL mode for more than 800.-€Euro
and last but not least: trays and arms
have fun for working it out
best regards
tom
