Epson Red Sea 2010 Live Daily Reports

This is the 6th year in a row that the Eilat Red Sea competition takes place in Eilat, Israel, awarding photographers with prizes worth $80,000 every year again. On November 8th, the Epson Red Sea 2010 has officially started, introducing new categories, enlarged prizes, upgraded "Happy Hours" and some very lovely naked models walking all around... The first day of the competition, which is the registration day, is always the most optimistic one for all. Your strobe didn’t fail yet, your schedule seems perfectly reasonable and you still believe that you’re the only one aware of the Frog Fish at the wreck. The sun is shining, the sky is blue, and you’re going home with a prize worth $25,000. You’ve gotta love this day!

Epson Red Sea 2009

The Epson Red Sea 2009 event has started today in Eilat, Israel. During the next three days, photographers will be spending most of their time underwater, trying to capture an image that will entitle them with an opportunity to be called up on stage during the wining ceremony, which will take place on Saturday, November 14th. Prizes this year are valued at $80,000, not to mention international acknowledgement. The tension is high, excitement is at its peak, and still one of the hottest topics discussed is the difficulty everybody is experiencing having to wait till tomorrow for the first Happy Hour. “Aphrodite” – The Cyprus Experience Competition

“Aphrodite” – The Cyprus Experience Competition Today was the first day of the “Aphrodite” Cyprus Experience, an international underwater photography event first held in Larnaka, Cyprus. The winners of the competition, who will be announced on June 6th, will get the chance to come back home with some valuable prizes, including cash prizes (which sum up to 17,000 Euro), unique dive trips to dreamy destinations, expensive underwater photography equipment, diving gear and more.

2009 Düsseldorf Boot Fair

Boot 2009 Messeplan From the 17th January to the 25th January the 2009 Düsseldorf Boot Fair opens the gates to the public. This year the fair celebrates its 40th anniversary. 1650 exhibitors from 55 countries are presenting their product spectrums and latest developments. Nearly a fifth (370 exhibitors) of them is showing diving equiment and related products in hall Nr.3
