Excellent, excellent product. My husband and I purchased the Marine Kit to take on our recent Carribean vacation. It was a camera saver. Not only is it good for under water photography, it is necessary for sailing trips when you never know where the next splash will come from or even hanging out on the beach. I can't tell you how many times we had to take sand off of the lens. With the high humidity of the tropical islands along with the trade winds the sand and salt on the case at the end of the day was incredible. All we had to do was rinse the Marine Kit under cold water and any worries we had just washed down the drain. By the way, just in case you're wondering the kit had no effect on our pictures, we got the same quality and clarity whether shooting inside or outside of the Marine Kit.

This housing is like all other Marine Pack housings from Sony. Very well made, comes with extra O-ring and lubricant. For the Money, this is an excellent choice for divers and anyone playing on, in or around the water or snow.
I have had several of these housings for different cameras and all have served me well.
They will use the Sony flash and video lights when used with the Marine Pack arm and camera mounts.
A simple wash down with fresh water will be all that's needed to keep your housing clean.
All my photos have been clear with no problems taking pictures through the housing.
All controls are easily accessed with the water tight buttons on the top and rear of the housing.
A great insurance policy for butter-finger picture takers. If dropped in the water the housing floats for easy retrieval.
Buy it, you'll like it...:)

I have used this item many times in the snow. Dropped, fell, and have gotten it completely covered by snow. It is a must buy for the sony cameras. The only complaint is that it needs a lens cap! If the lens gets scratched at all, your screwed! $130.00 down the drain. I have called sony and tried to see if they had an alternative that would work with the size of this lens....no luck.
Great product, get it, you'll need it. But be carefull of the lens!

I recently bought the marine pack for a trip to Hawaii. The photo quality in the water proof case was excellent both in and out of the water. When we were on the beach we would leave it in the case all day with no worries about sand or water harming the camera. Just be sure to wipe off the lense when comming out of the water or there will be blurry spots on the picture.

The marine pack is very high quality and an excellent Sony product.

This product does not fit the Sony Cybershot DSC-W100 even though the product description states:

I like this product, but it is not exactly what i was looking for. I hope ther will be a sport pack for this camera series. It requiere kind of special care, and if you use it just to protect from water and not for diving, it gets some spots in the lenses part... but it is very usefull, and take good care of the camera, maybe i will start diving to use it as it is suposed to be used

This case is very well made. I was pleased to find it at Amazon. It operates every function on the camera while giving it underwater safety. If you need a diving or outdoor case (I sometimes shoot pictures during inclement weather) This case is great.

The Sony marine pack is a high quality product at a very affordable price. It is a bargain at the Sony price of $200 and available for much less through amazon. I have done 20+ dives at depths of up to 90 ft and it's performed well every time. Of course the flash on the Sony W series cameras is not bright enough for really great u/w color, but excellent photos can be obtained in many situations and the housing itself allows complete flexibility to use any feature of the camera. And it's durable enough to take the inevitable banging that comes with boat diving.

This case is very nice, especially for the price. Very high quality. It was a perfect fit for my camera - Sony DSC-W1. The only drawbacks are that the flash was slightly less effective, and the mic was (obviously) less effective. I would highly recommend this case.

Fantastic product - it's performed flawlessly on several dives - all camera operations are easily accessed underwater and it takes great pictures above water using this housing as well. I wish I had bought it sooner!

On my honeymoon this cover worked great and the camera was safe the whole time, even while swimming with sharks and sting rays. The only negative to this is that when coming out of the water sometime pictures will come out blurry because of the water on the front cap. I do recommend getting the color filter for underwater pics. But all in all a great product.

Works fantastic. Used this in Costa Rica in streams and in the Pacific Ocean. Just amazing. I also use this in rainy conditions and around things like waterfalls.

Used it in Maui! Worked flawlessly. Very easy to use and get ready. The pictures we took turned out great!
